An engineer by profession, Paul has cofounded and scaled to successful exit several technology based companies internationally. He is Founder and Managing Director of Select Strategies and has over three decades of experience helping companies figure out a path to scale. Paul serves on the Boards of several investor backed businesses and is an invited keynote speaker at many business growth conferences.
Paul is co-author of The Growth Roadmap (Oak Tree Press 2020), author of The Business Battlecard (Oak Tree Press 2009) and co-author of New Approaches to Growth (2012), Mapping the Product Management Minefield (2008) and Select Selling (2006). Paul's books have been widely used by teams seeking growth.
Paul has an MBA from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and is a qualified business coach. He is a former chairperson of the Irish Software Association and member of the Governing Board of ICT Ireland.
Prior to joining Select Strategies Emer had over 15 years senior leadership team experience in areas such as product management and professional services. A Director of Select Strategies she has led multiple international growth transformation projects for our clients over the past decade.
A European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) accredited business coach, Emer is a specialist in senior leadership team dynamics and how they can be leveraged to accelerate change and deliver business performance. Emer has a Masters in Business & Executive Coaching from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.

Clare has a background in finance. Prior to joining Select Strategies, Clare spent over ten years working in the financial services industry where she engaged in developing and managing strategic investment portfolios for both corporate and individual clients. Clare has assisted multiple SMEs with customer acquisition and retention using both traditional and digital marketing strategies.
Clare has an MBA from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, a Higher Diploma in Psychology (UCD) and a BA in Science (Trinity College Dublin).
Clare serves on the Board of both Epilepsy Ireland and Orbis Ireland.
Sam brings a broad range of experience in client and stakeholder management including 10 years as Operations Lead for the technical department in the Royal College of Surgeons. During this time she was responsible for the overall management and delivery of significant projects requiring management of an extensive group of stakeholders and users.
Sam holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies from the Technical University Dublin and a BA from UCD.
